As a not-for-profit arts organization, the New York Musical Theatre Festival relies on the charitable contributions of individuals, foundations, and other institutions to help sustain our important activities.
In the past four years, NYMF has had an amazing success rate, with more than 1 in 9 shows moving on to further productions. NYMF's support of these shows is significant because most would never reached a full production without NYMF's help.
Thanks to quality productions, top-level talent, and affordable tickets, the Festival has also been enormously successful with audience development:
- Our audiences have grown by at least 35% each year with attendance reaching over 41,000 in 2007.
- 88% of our productions have sold-out performances.
- Membership in the festival has tripled each year.
We can only cover a portion of our expenses through ticket sales. It is only with the help of patrons like you that we are able to continue securing a brighter future for American musical theatre.
As a patron you'll receive:
- Free tickets for at least 15 productions in the Festival
